After shopping around locally & online this was the replacement motion sensor flood light I chose. The price was worth trying it, that's what swayed me. Since the light was more for convenience than security for my needs that was the second reason it was selected over others. The light I replaced I had for many years when the sensor gave up but that would have been more costly and complex to replace than a new unit. So for my purpose this light is OK. As for the unit itself you get what you pay for! Attaching the unit to the electricity was a snap but I discovered the replacement screws were to small for the utility box so I just used the old screws, easy enough. Then the next issue was screwing in the bulbs. Since the unit is made from plastic I had a difficult time getting the bulbs in because I was concerned with snapping the bulb holder off. My old unit was made of metal and was extremely sturdy. That leads me to focusing the unit bulbs & sensor. You have to use a screwdriver to loosen the arms to adjust them, kind of awkward as opposed to an installed adjuster. The 110 degree sensor has very limited focal range, I'm still adjusting that for area coverage I want. The light works well so far but I've only had it in place a week. Overall the unit works for my needs the quality though, plastic, is questionable for it's durability. As for Midland Hardware, they are really reliable when it comes to service. Standard shipping (free) got here in a week which I was happy with. I've had really good service from Midland, so I do recommend them for your hardware needs.
