Mr
Worked perfect. Used for hanging guitars off a 1x4. Perfect sizing and more than enough weigh capacity. Will definitely buy more when I have the need.

Hanger Screw
I have ordered dozens of these. They have versatile usage. I used them to hang garden tools as well as patio chairs. The protective rubber coating keep things from sliding off the screw while not scratching the chairs.

Garage Meister
Just installed 12 hooks and am very pleased. The instructions say to drill a 5/16" pilot hole. I found that a 17/64" hole makes for a firmer fit in pine studs. 1/4" would probably do well also.
